And Montreal is definitely in the plans. Even if it's just taking the train in for weekenders. One of the attractions to Maine was it's proximity to Toronto and Montreal.

We just have to work out the logistics (oh, and actually get to Maine...)

It broke my heart to see all the highway signs for Montreal!

We really want to come up, but we have to work out the logistics for Neil. He uses his BlackBerry, heavily, for work, and we don't want to cross the border and suddenly get hit with thousands of dollars of international roaming charges (like all of the horror stories we've heard about with business travelers). We're working on how to handle it.

In the meantime, we stayed last night in the SE corner of NY, and tonight we're in Sturbridge, MA. Sturbridge is charming and not that expensive so we might be here a few days.

We will let you know as soon as we have worked out how to cross the border! We are really looking forward to seeing you (and your new dog!) and getting back to Montreal. I'd love to get Neil to Quebec City for the 400th anniversary celebrations this summer, too.

Cross your fingers for us!
