Safely Stowed in Owings Mills (updated)
We arrived safe and sound late last night in the Baltimore, Maryland suburb of Owings Mills to visit our friend Patrick.
We’ll be house sitting for Patrick the next week or so, and actually visiting with him when he gets back from his own travels. But at least we arrived in time to drop him off at the airport today!
The last week has been incredibly busy, and we’re looking forward to sitting down and writing up our most recent adventures now that we have a fixed address for a few days again and a chance to breathe.
Update If you can recommend sights / events / things-to-do in the Baltimore / DC area, or if you’re a long-lost friend hiding here under our noses and you’d like to get in touch, please leave a comment. We’d love to hear from you!

Long lost (Zoe) friend here, Shaula. I’m thrilled to see you’re doing this thing. Congrats! And I’m thrilled I get to bear witness to it. (You know if you ever make it up Vancouver, BC way and I’m around, do come visit.)
Hello, Tamara! Thank you so much for checking out our site.
For the uninitiated, “Zoe” stands for (American) Zoetrope, Francis Ford Coppola’s free online peer-review writing workshop. It is a great place to get feedback on your (screenplay / fiction / poetry) writing, as well as to meet marvelous and talented people.
We are building me a life with a whole lot of writing time again: while we’re living on the road, we need productive ways to keep me out of trouble while Neil programs as a telecommuter. We’re still hitting our stride for the rhythm of road life, but I’m hoping to be around Zoetrope a lot more often in the future.
And we do get to Vancouver from time to time, en route to visiting family in the Interior. I’d love to see you and we’ll let you know when we’re going to be around next.
For those of you who don’t know Tamara, I should point out that she is a gifted Canadian writer. You can see what she’s up to at The Canadian Writers’ Collective.
